The summer season for kid’s shoes is putting on a colorful and ebullient face. Color is all the rage, particularly for girls and increasingly for boys: prints and clear white are also much in evidence.

For girls, sporty ballerina shoes are big as is summery open footwear. These models feature whimsical prints, are embellished with appliqué and ribbon or are executed in multicolor designs, and in all cases are supremely imaginative and ebullient. Even boy’s sneakers (low and high top) and sandals are becoming noticeably more colorful.
